Press compression fittings are made from copper or copper alloy and are specifically designed for use in internal and external aboveground gas installations. They are certified (BS 8537). Manufactured by a company registered to BS EN ISO 9001. For identification purposes, the fittings have yellow/brown NBR sealing rings and the word "Gas" in a yellow box on the fitting body. Working pressure range: 1 bar (internal use), 5 bar (external use) at temperatures from -20°C to 70°C. Press compression fittings provide electrical continuity when pressed/installed with copper pipe in accordance with BS EN 1057/+A1 R250/R290. Press fittings should not be painted or come into contact with cleaning agents, paints, greases, fluxes, mineral oils, adhesives or other solvent-based materials during assembly, insulation or after assembly.

Gas Press-fit M profile fitting, manufactured from copper and copper alloys are designed specifically for use on internal and external, above ground 2nd and 3rd family gas installation pipework.
For identification fittings have yellow HNBR O rings and Gas marked in a yellow block on the fitting body. Working pressure: 5 bar at -20 to 70°C. These fittings provide electrical continuity when pressed/installed with copper tube to BS EN 1057/+A1 R250/R290. Fittings should not be painted or come into contact with cleaning products, paint, grease, flux, mineral oil, adhesive or other solvent based materials during installation, lagging or after installation
